What: According to your comfort level, complete online surveys; online or in-person interviews; online or in-person product, website, or app testing; and in-person field studies observing product or service.
These studies are for the purposes of understanding what customers/users' needs, frustrations, adaptations, and behaviors in using products, websites, apps, and even spaces. It serves to improve designs, so things are more user-friendly for people, instead of expecting people to conform to some clunky obnoxious design- imagine that! Learn about these studies here:

Why: While there are consumer/customer/user research testing sites already available, more than a few do not seem to not act in the best interest of their participants with their unfair pay, lack transparency, lack informed consent, and do not appear to value privacy.
Pay: $10-100+/ hr or session, depending on your background and preferences aligning with a client's. Pay options can be via Pay Pal or from a variety of popular gift card options. There is no compensation for signing up to participate in this particular form.
Participation Commitment: Up to you, at least an hour, your preferences get matched with a project as they come up. Participation is not a regular thing to take up your time, and flexible scheduling.
This may be used to screen the suitability of research participants for different projects. Participation is on a need basis and compensation for participation may differ by client, but we will reach out to you if you meet both the study's screening criteria and at least your minimum desired level of compensation. Though, be aware certain payment amounts and options for research incentives may be constrained by state and federal laws. Privacy: Thank you for considering participating. Social science research is founded on trust with our participants, without you it cannot happen. Your privacy matters and individually identifying information will not be shared outside of HAR. This means no names, or contacts will ever be shared with a client and these identifying details will be digitally scrubbed within 90 days of the completed project. We will never sell your personally identifiable information. We also believe in being upfront about the studies you are joining and before each study we will obtain a renewed informed consent particular to the study.
